Who is a Glide First Citizen?  

They are people just like you and me, with a big difference:  They repeatedly give their time and services to help the community.  Their selfless generosity makes them stand out.  They are your friends and neighbors -- plain, everyday people, who do amazing things.

How does someone become a First Citizen? 

Any individual or area organization can nominate any residents of the greater North Umpqua region.  Nominations are open year round.  It's easy to make a nomination. Here's the nomination form.
