Brooklin Quisenberry will be attending California State Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.  She will major in Spanish and ride on the rodeo team.  Brooklin wants to teach Spanish so that more people can communicate with the Spanish speaking population of our country.  While attending school she will compete on the Intercollegiate Rodeo Team which is one of the best in U.S.   She has been riding horses from the age of 4 and interested in rodeo from age 7. Her particular interest is barrel racing.  She has been involved in FFA, Honor Society, wrestling scorekeeper, blood drives, and many more.  Brooklin please come up and accept your award.

Jazmine Pardo Rams will major in Psychology and wants to go into forensic psychology.    Besides Reed and Corban colleges in Oregon she has applied as far away as Minnesota.  She will have to practice “Go Bears!”    Jazmine has always enjoyed helping others and being there for people in need. She says that the best feeling in the world is knowing you're the reason someone smiles or laughs.  She is involved in band, honor society,  sports and her church.  Jazmine please come up and accept your award.

 Tyler Organ will be attending Oregon Institute of Technology and majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  His passion is car racing and wants to be a Nascar driver.  He likes to build things and work with his hands.  It started with Legos, then building birdhouses, and then cars.  He's done some welding and wiring.  Tyler has played soccer, been in choir, an officer for FFA, shown poultry, goats and steer.  When I first tried to call Tyler to tell him the good news he was out helping his goat while she gave birth to baby goats.  Tyler, please come up and accept your award.

Emily Michel will begin her college career at Umpqua Community College studying biology.   She enjoyed biology class and loves the outdoors and enjoyed the forestry field trips she took at school.   She thought wildlife management would be a good vocation.  Emily will continue on to 4 year school after UCC.    She would like to be involved in maintaining wildlife habitats.  Aside from being an excellent student, Emily has been involved in many extra-curricular activities.  She is a talented band and vocal student, active in athletics in basketball and softball, honor society, outdoor club, and worked on blood drives with Red Cross.  Emily, please come up and accept your award.

Mishayla Jordan will also begin at UCC and study to become a registered nurse.  She is accepted in the Certified Nurse Assistant program and is already taking classes online towards that goal.  She has volunteered 3 years at the hospital and feels she has a real passion for helping and caring for people.  She says she loves her volunteer position.  She is in choir and honor society, and worked the Red Cross blood drive among other things.  I asked her if she could choose any department at the hospital to work, which would it be?  Without hesitation she said:  Pediatrics!  I love working with the children!  Mishayla, please come up and accept your award.

Calvin Metz will attend UCC and major in music education.   Further plans take him to Oregon State University to acquire his masters degree.   His ultimate goal is to be a music director.   I have heard Calvin break into song at the spur of the moment and he has a wonderful voice.  He has been involved in many community programs:  blood drive, walk for a well, and boy scouts.  He has been senior patrol leader and eagle scout.   He has been in honor society, drama, track and fleld.  Last year he was class president and ASB president this year.  Calvin please come up and accept your award.
